Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed within the cover letter. Acknowledgments should be confined to the cover letter to preserve the double-blind peer review policy.
Timeliness:
To ensure timely publications, reviewers are expected to respond within assigned days for manuscript reviews. Any delays should be communicated promptly to the journal editor, allowing for alternative measures.
Review Process:
Staff editors conduct an initial review of submitted manuscripts. Papers meeting editorial criteria undergo formal review, while others may be rejected or sent back to authors for revision. Editorial decisions are based on reviewer feedback, leading to acceptance, further revision, or rejection.
Selecting Peer-Reviewers:
Reviewers play a crucial role, selected based on relevance, expertise, and reputation. JoWaCH follows a double-blind peer-review process, emphasizing confidentiality.
