Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • I UNDERSTAND THAT JoWaCH RELIES ON OPEN COMMUNICATION AND PROMPT RESPONSES FROM AUTHORS FOR A FAST AND EFFICIENT PUBLICATION PROCESS. I AGREE TO REGULARLY CHECK AND RESPOND TO MESSAGES AND UPDATES SENT THROUGH THE SUBMISSION PORTAL THROUGHOUT THE REVIEW PROCESS, ENSURING SMOOTH COMMUNICATION AND TIMELY PROGRESS FOR MY MANUSCRIPT.
  • The work is original and free of plagiarism.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • All the submission files (except figures) are in Microsoft Word document file format only.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • All the authors have shared their respective affiliations, email addresses, degrees (qualifications), and ORCID IDs in the manuscript.
  • The manuscript have three to four bullet points on what this research adds to the currently available literature.
  • The manuscript has a 250-word paragraph describing the overall summary of the manuscript in layman's language.
  • All the references are in Vancouver style and well placed in the manuscript text.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The submitting author has reviewed the details on how to prepare your manuscript, mentioned in Authors guidelines under the following link (http://www.jowach.com/index.php/js/author_guidelines)
  • Have the approval of Ethical Review Board in the form of a Letter of Ethical Review Board. Please upload the letter as a supporting document during the submission process along with the manuscript.
  • The submission files include a Cover Letter.
  • Any material that has been taken froth other authors work; it has been properly referenced.
  • For tables (s) or figure(s) taken from any website or other research papers or books, written consent of the publisher/ author is taken and will be able to provide it to the editorial office of the Journal upon request.
  • The work does not violate intellectual property rights.
  • The manuscript does not contain any subject matter that contravenes any laws (including defamatory material and misleading and deceptive material).
  • All authors agree with the preparation and submission of the submitted manuscript.
  • All contributors who have made substantial contributions to the work reported in the manuscript, but who are not listed as the authors. Their names are mentioned in the Acknowledgment section and have given their written permission to be named.
  • In consideration for publication of the work, the author(s) grants JOWACH an exclusive and royalty-free worldwide license to reproduce, publish and communicate the work, or any part of the work, to the public in any and all media for commercial, educational and all other purposes.
  • In addition to the Author's moral rights in respect of the work, the author(s) retains the right according to CC BY 4.0.
  • The DATA COLLECTION TOOL HAVE BEEN ATTACHED

- Opinions on immediate community concerns.

- No words limit, but within 5000 words maximum.

- Minimal references (max 10), no figures/tables.

Case Report

- Opinions on immediate community concerns.

- No words limit, but within 5000 words maximum.

- Minimal references (max 10), no figures/tables.

Case Series

- Opinions on immediate community concerns.

- No words limit, but within 5000 words maximum.

- Minimal references (max 10), no figures/tables.

Original Articles

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Keywords, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Conflicts of Interests, Acknowledgment, Funding Source, and Reference section.

- No words limit (Maximum of 5000 words), no limits to tables (maximum 5 tables), no limits to figures (maximum 3 figures).

Qualitative Research

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Keywords, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Conflicts of Interests, Acknowledgment, Funding Source, and Reference section.

- No words limit (Maximum of 5000 words), no limits to tables (maximum 5 tables), no limits to figures (maximum 3 figures).

Clinical Papers

- Submit as Brief Reports or Clinical Problem-Solving articles.

- Word Count: 2500 words.

Meta-analyses

- Comprehensive literature review with meta-analysis.

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Conflicts of Interests, Acknowledgment, Funding Source, and Reference section.

- Summarize previous research on a topic.

- Methodology overview required.

- No limits to word (maximum of 5000 words), no limits to figures (maximum 5 tables), no figures limit (maximum 3 figures).

Technical Papers

- In-depth discussion of research methodologies or technical aspects.

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methodological Details, Technical Aspects, Results (if applicable), Discussion, Conclusion, Conflicts of Interests, Acknowledgment, Funding Source, and Reference section.

- Word Count: 3000-5000 words.

Policy Analyses

- Summarize key policy issues and recommendations.

- Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Policy Issues, Recommendations, Conclusion, Conflicts of Interests, Acknowledgment, Funding Source, and Reference section.

- Word Count: 2000-3000 words.
