Originality and Multiple Submissions
At JoWaCH, we uphold rigorous standards for submission and publication, emphasizing the significance of original work and ethical practices.
Originality Requirement:
Material under consideration at JoWaCH must be entirely original and not concurrently submitted elsewhere for publication. The corresponding author may consider submitting elsewhere only if a rejection letter for the respective manuscript is received. Encouragingly, we advocate for the inclusion of portions of Ph.D. or thesis work in JoWaCH, adding value to the scholarly discourse.
Prohibition of Multiple Submissions:
Submitting the same manuscript in the same or different languages to more than one journal is strictly prohibited. Should an author intend to submit work to JoWaCH that has been published elsewhere or is currently under consideration, these details must be explicitly outlined in the cover letter. Such cases undergo careful consideration in alignment with the ethical standards set forth by COPE publishing practices
Starting in 2025, JoWaCH will follow a quarterly schedule with issues released in March, June, September, and December. This change ensures alignment with global academic cycles and enhances consistency for contributors and readers.
