Disclosure of Funding Sources

It is mandatory for all JoWaCH authors to disclose the funding sources they used to conduct their study. Declaring funding sources satisfies funding criteria, gives credit to sponsors for their efforts, and encourages more openness in the research process.

What to Declare

Every author must disclose separately any financial sources they have received for the work they have submitted to the journal. Included in this data are grant numbers, the names of the awarding organisations, and an explanation of each funder's function. It also has to be mentioned if the funder had no involvement in the study.

If a funding has nothing to do with the published study, authors are not obliged to provide a comprehensive list of all the grants that they have received.

Statement of Funding

Every published article's metadata contains a Funding Statement. The authors' disclosed financial details are included in the financial Statement.

Corrections may be necessary if inaccurate information about financing is found after publishing.

How to Make a Declaration

The online submission mechanism receives funding information. Examine the instructions for submission.
